The Human Dynamic

Participants: Level 1
Instructor:
Vid Sodnik from Ljubljana, Slovenia
The workshop will be taught in English
Duration: 12 hours

The core of an improvised scene is the relationship between the characters. But these are far more than they appear on the outside – a father and daughter, a manager and cleaner. How are these two people together? To truly play the relationship, we need to play with the human dynamic.

In this workshop, we will infuse scenes with life and direction by feeding the dynamic. We will explore the insides of characters, and use concepts such as status and relationship desires to give scenes a deeper meaning and a playful spirit. We will play with techniques that are emotional, physical and verbal to create compelling relationships that we have never seen before, and express the human dynamic.

Workshop factors: Physical, Emotional, Personal sharing
