We've made two changes to the Festival program. On Friday 25.10, we are offering a Double Feature: Loophole & Pants On Fire. Pants On Fire is an evening of improvisation based on believable lies and unbelievable true stories.
On Saturday 26.10, we have BIRDIE! on the program. BIRDIE! is improvised badminton on stage under the lights, and the audience decides when the scenes begin.

Clever games and silly stories? Unicorns, elves, and happily ever after? We all know there's much more to improvised theatre than just fluff and fun. However, searching for meaning and questioning the status quo can be daunting! From October 24th to 27th, we’ll explore how to approach areas artistically and respectfully, yet comically, that we often tiptoe around for fear of offending. Join us on this journey!
For the success of the Maestro™ format by Keith Johnstone, skilled live direction is essential. On May 18th and 19th, Nadine Antler will demonstrate to experienced improv players how to meet this challenge. The workshop will be in German.
We urgently need them on stage: nerds, experts, and all-rounders! On February 26th Nele Kießling will help to transform us into bold and decisive improv players. The workshop will be in German.
Does everything always have to grow? Nope! We long for a small, cosy festival. Fewer workshops, fewer participants, but finally the chance to get to know everyone. Sounds good? Here you can find all the information about the 21st edition of our festival.

Kevin Gillese is a Canadian comedy guy. On April 24th 2023 he will offer a workshop on The Tao of Improv in which we will explore how contrast, tension and opposites can be used to create compelling stories, characters and moments in improvised theatre inspired by Taoist philosophy.

But you can still register, you will be put on our waiting list. There is still a good chance that you will be able to participate, because if Corona measures allow it, we will increase the workshops to our normal number of participants. Many people in our community have experienced financial losses in this crazy year. Our association is unfortunately also affected by this. Nevertheless we would like to support those who cannot afford to participate in the festival this year - and you can help us!

The new shortened festival period is from Wednesday, Oct. 21stto Sunday, Oct. 25th. Registrationfor the workshops starts on June 16th. There will be no lottery procedure, as this makes little sense this year. The places will simply be allocated after receiving the registration forms.
